SAFARI ACCOMMODATION

LUXURY MOBILE

  • The accommodation is in spacious insect proof walk-in tents with gauze-covered windows and hanging cupboard.

 

  • The lighting inside the tents is bright enough to read by.

 

  • The ablutions are en-suite, consisting of an ash long drop toilet and hot water bucket showers.

 

  • A minimum of 3 staff excluding the safari guide, accompany the safari to make the safari run smoothly. The staffs perform all camp chores which include providing gourmet meals, tidy plus clean tents and all chores around the campsite.

 

  • Weather permitting laundry is done daily with the exception of the days the camp moves to its next location.
     

  • Assortment of soft drinks, local beers & spirits, will be on offer throughout your safari inclusive in the price. South African wines are provided for meals and especially for a glorious sundowner.  
    Please note premium wines, champagne and spirits can be ordered on behalf of the guests and prepaid.
    Guests should indicate drinks preferences in advance, so they are catered for correctly.

semi-LUXURY DOME SAFARIs

  • Accommodation is in 3x3 m walk-in tents with mosquito proofing and sewn in groundsheets.
     

  • The tents are equipped with stretcher beds, foam mattress, pillows, sheets and blankets.
     

  • There is one ensuite toilet and shower per tent which are open to the stars.
     

  • Trip is fully backed up.
     

  • Assortment of soft drinks & local beers, will be on offer throughout your safari inclusive in the price.
    Gin, vodka and whisky are available but are entry level brands. Guests should indicate drinks preferences in advance, so they are catered for correctly.
    Local wines (Red & White) will be on offer at dinner times only, inclusive in the price.
    Please note premium wines, champagne and spirits can be ordered on behalf of the guests and prepaid.

DINING on SAFARi

  • Three substantial meals per day are served, between planned safari activities.

  • Menus of fresh produce change every day and vegetarian or special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement.
     

  • There may be a surcharge for certain dietary requirements due to availability of required items.
     

  • Guests or their travel agent to advise on special dietary requirements in advance so that we may quote accordingly.

VEHICLES

  • The vehicles used on the safari are custom fitted 4 x 4 vehicles.

 

  • The vehicle seats 7 people excluding the guide.
     

  • Each vehicle is fitted with charging units to charge camera batteries.

INSURANCE

  • We cover guests for medical evacuation only, therefore it is imperative that guests take out their own fully comprehensive medical insurance to cover other emergency, hospitalization or further treatment.
     

  • Unfortunately we cannot accept any client who does not have medical cover.
     

  • We further more strongly suggest that all guests should take out travel insurance.

EXCLUDED

  • Park Fees.

  • Additional Activities such as Boat Cruises on the Okavango or Chobe rivers & Makoro Excursions in the Okavango Delta. These will be charged at time of invoicing
